Find the bike. The oil follows.

A motorcycle manual names two things: the clutch rating (JASO MA2 or MB) and the viscosity. Find the bike below and you know what to ask for. The manufacturer's manual always governs.

These are the requirements these bikes commonly carry. The motorcycle manufacturer's manual governs the final choice — send us the models and we match them.

No lubricant knowledge needed

Three steps to your motorcycle oil range.

1

List the bikes in your market

Brands and models, or just the mix — how many scooters, commuter bikes, sport bikes. A photo of a shop shelf works too.

2

Pick your price levels

Most distributors carry three: mineral for price, synthetic blend for volume, fully synthetic for margin. We tell you which grades fill each.

3

Send it to us

You get the grades, the data sheets and a price in 0.8L, 1L or 4L. Want it under your own brand? Label design is free.

Four things motorcycle-oil buyers ask most.

Can riders use car engine oil in a motorcycle?

Not in a bike with a wet clutch. Many car oils contain friction modifiers that make the clutch slip. Look for JASO MA2 on the bottle — every MOTTA motorcycle oil except the two scooter MB grades carries it.

What is the difference between JASO MA2 and MB?

MA2 has the higher friction a wet clutch needs. MB is lower friction, for automatic scooters whose clutch does not sit in the engine oil. Using MB in a wet-clutch bike commonly causes slip.

Which grades sell in hot climates?

10W-40 and 20W-50 cover most bikes in tropical markets, with 20W-50 favoured for older and hard-working engines. The manual still governs — send us the models and we suggest the range.

Can I launch my own motorcycle oil brand?

Yes. Label design is free, one container can mix several products, and 0.8L and 1L bottles suit shop shelves. Retail-pack samples are free; you pay the freight.
