Selection and practical use

Choose ATF 220, 6AT, 8HP or 9/10HP by the transmission code and prescribed fluid specification, not the number of gears alone.

CVT and DCT applications require their own fluid specifications; do not assume an ATF is interchangeable.

Follow the transmission-specific filling, fluid-level checking and maintenance procedure. For selection support, provide the transmission code, required specification and current fluid.
