Can I mix two different greases?
Only if the thickeners are compatible. Lithium and lithium-complex usually mix; polyurea, clay or calcium-sulphonate greases may not, and a bad mix can soften and run out. When changing grease, purge the old one.
How do I choose the NLGI grade?
NLGI 2 covers most bearings. Softer 00 and 000 pump better through central systems. Firmer 3 stays in place in larger or vertical bearings. The equipment manual governs.
Does a higher dropping point mean it works hotter?
No. The dropping point is a lab figure, not a working temperature. For sustained heat, choose a grease built for it — synthetic base oil and a complex thickener, like our GT series.
I only need a few pails. Do you take that?
Yes. One container can mix greases and oils, and trial quantities are considered by product and project. Retail-pack samples are free — you pay the freight.
